Catfish Trailer

I wanted to make something that would be a totally new idea if compared to the trailers on the market today. The idea is that the ramp will lower down nice and level without removing the trailer from the back of the "tow car". Also wanted to incorporate some of the beautiful lines of the Catfish in to the fiberglass fairings to make it a nice match for the car. The trailer will fit through a standard single car garage door. The model is very much in a concept stage and needs further development. The lifting mechanism needs a trim to achieve the level lowering-rising motion and a thorough strength study should be done. The main point is to show the idea behind this trailer. Due to very little time I've been able to use for modelling it, you can actually see some placement issues etc. in the model.
