Students can use these dice to roll ionic compounds. Lesson Plan and Activity In groups, have students roll the anion and cation dice to create an ionic compound. After rolling the dice, students determine the compound's formula and name. Students repeat this ten times (or more), creating ten ionic compounds, then answer reflection questions that follow.
