Cattle Hoof Ruler V.1

Cattle Hoof Ruler V.1

thingiverse

This is a prototype for a cattle hoof ruler requested by a provincial veterinarian center here in Thailand. The device will be used to measure hoof damage to help determine treatment plans. This design may change (and may not even work for the purpose it is designed for) but we are making it available in case others would like to try it out and provide feedback to improve the design ahead of V.2. We included the SketchUp file used to design it. It is printed in two halves and is friction welded together (or alternatively, can be glued together). Print Settings Printer: ExtraBot 3020 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Doesn't matter. Infill: 20% or higher Notes: Should print out easy. Post processing requires either gluing or friction welding. ( http://hackaday.com/2014/12/30/3d-printing-technique-friction-welding/ )
