CC2530 Router USB Enclosure

CC2530 Router USB Enclosure

thingiverse

A simple enclosure for a CC2530 zigbee router flashed with the Zigbee2MQTT router firmware. This is designed to fit over an old apple USB charger and uses a DC 5V To 3.3V DC-DC Step-Down Power Supply Module to provide 3.3 volts to the CC2530. I cut the USB plug off an old USB memory stick and soldered the GND and V-IN pins of the Step-Down Power Supply Module, the GND and V-OUT were then soldered to small jumper wires which were connected to the CC2530. The CC2530 slides into the enclosure and is held in place by the antenna and a small ledge that the PCB sits on. The enclosure friction fits to the USB charger. This is based on the Zigbee2MQTT router instructions found here - https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/how_tos/how_to_create_a_cc2530_router.html
