This is a ball mount phone holder base that inserts into the CD drive. The profile is designed specifically for a 2005 Highlander, however I think there are other CD drives this would fit into. Iphone 12 Mini Tested - though larger phones would definitely be ok. May interfere with the gear shifter. It slots in nicely and has a press fit feel into the molding around the CD drive which is where the strength comes in. If there is no molding, I would not trust the strength of the thin "CD" part to support your phone.
