CD slot phone holder

This is the combination of things I am using for my phone mount in my Honda Fit. This mount sticks into the cd player slot, and features a magnetic joint so I can rotate it to landscape easily if I want to for whatever reason. Print out two arm.stl files, which stick into the holes in cross.stl. This forms the part that sticks into the cd player, it is printed in multiple parts so the weak axis (the lamination layers) does not make it super breakable. If you are worried about strength, this part can be printed with something like bridge nylon, but ABS should work as well. Plate back and plate front is the same as http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:685687 which is designed for 8mm diameter disc magnets, small 1 mm thick ones that I got off ebay. Depending on material I find I sometimes have to file the openings a little bigger. I should do this with more tolerance, but frankly I have only printed this twice and the one time I needed to make the holes bigger it was easy to do while watching some TV. This rotation assembly adheres on one side to the cross piece, and on the other side to whatever you are using to hold your phone. My last two phones have been iphone 5s and nexus 5x so cradles I made or modified for them are attached. (the iphone one is a remix of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:214854 to accomodate different plugs I had, your needs will vary). These are both pretty tight, and are meant to be filed/sanded down to desired smoothness and fit. With tolerance fits like this I tend to error on the side of having to remove material. Superglue works good to hold it all together, I prefer to make everything ABS and use acetone to solvent weld it all together. The arms should not need any attachment to the cross. The intent was if they broke they would be super easy to replace, but mine have not broken.
