Ceiling Cable Cover

Ceiling Cable Cover

thingiverse

This thing resembles a *ceiling canopy*, used to cover up the electric contacts if a ceiling light is installed slightly shifted from the cable outlet (see picture). It has one hole on the side for the cable and four holes that can be used to attaching it to the ceiling. The object *baldachin_no_hole.stl* is the same except that it has no hole in the side. Due to the low weight it should also be possible to just glue it to the ceiling. The cap can be attached with a firm press and holds very tight, even if printed with 0.3 layer height. Measurements: + Diameter: 7cm (~2.75") + Height: 3.5cm (~1.38") + Holes: The holes were chosen somewhat smaller (around 5mm or 0.2") so that they can be drilled to a fitting diameter by hand.
