This is a Celestial Model consisting of parts to model the representation of the Sun and the Moon appearance that can be seen from the earth. The Sun and the Moon are attached on its meridian rotating about Earth's axis, which can be adjusted according to the latitude. You can use them to demonstrate some astronomical phenomenon as viewed from the Earth's ground, such as sunrise and sunset, moonrise and moonset, sun appearance through seasons, day-night period, how sun dial works, eclipse, moon phase, astronomical coordinates, and etc. Tips : - Some small parts may need brim or raft. - To fit your printer tolerance, you may do some post-printing, such as use a thin tape with some joints to tighten them, or use uses sandpaper to loosen some parts. - For some joints, you can use other materials than the printed one. - Some parts need to be glued. - You may scale up all the models if desiring the bigger size. - Use magnets or glue to attach ground to the stand. - You can also suppose the moon to be a star.
