Leg levelers for the Celestron Advanced VX (AVX) mount. This slips over the existing foot and has a divot in the bottom to center the foot in the tube. No modifications required and 100% reversible. What to print: 3 x foot 3 x thumbwheel 6 x retainer shim Designed with these feet (or similar) in mind. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GL1VQSG/ 3/8" - 16 screw. 4.5" high, 2" diameter. This easily lifts a fully loaded mount with just the thumbwheel. I used the jam nut (black one in the middle) inside the foot to provide a hard threaded surface for the screw to bear on. The thumbwheel slips over the shaft and onto the adjustment nut at the bottom of the screw and is a snug fit. The easiest way to put the feet on is to assemble everything loosely at the foot, making sure it is snug against the bottom and centered. Slide the retainer clips in until they are even and snug. Then slide the whole assembly firmly into the leg clamp, like a slide hammer. A few moderate whacks and the clamps will be firmly and evenly seated. If you want to remove the feet it is easily done with a dead blow hammer and will not damage the parts.
