The Celestron SkySync GPS comes with a curly cable that is tool long and an awkward system to mount on the tripod legs. I replaced the long cable with a 30 cm short one; this holder can be velcroed to the mount and the GPS slides into it -- thus it can rotate with the mount and avoids getting tangled. The cable threads down through the holder. You can make a cable by cutting a 6-conductor RJ12 cable and using a 0.1" connector inside the unit.
