This is a remix from @davequa over at myminifactory.com I wanted to be able to use the threaded slots on the tube mount. One hole came with a threaded rod aka a stud. I altered the original model to allow for hardware to hole the mount down. The holes designed for the thumbscrews are still too small and too low. When I drilled them out is did it at an angle to correct. model 2= I added an additional slot on one model to recess the hardware. model 3- I raised and slightly enlarged the holes on one side.
