Celestron Red Dot Finder Short Adapter

Celestron Red Dot Finder Short Adapter

I leave my scope assembled all the time and just throw a dust "cover" over it. The "cover" is a 13 Gallon kitchen garbage bag that fits ALMOST perfectly. Almost, because the Red Dot Finder has a pretty oversized adapter that keeps the Finder a lot further from the scope that it needs to be. So... here is my shorter adapter. The first pic is how it looks with my shorter adapter. The second pic is the original. Functionally, I see zero difference between the two. It's not like you put your eye right up against it or anything. That said, it just makes the whole setup a little "tighter" (and the garbage bag "cover" fits over easy now). So, once again. I printed it in PLA Plus No Supports needed.
