Cell Phone Charger Tray

Cell Phone Charger Tray

I was inspired by the Cell Phone charging Shelf by gigl, and in turn by the Wall Outlet Shelf from tosh. I created this thing from scratch on SketchUp. I was shooting for a Tray for larger phones, like the Galaxy Note 4. The tray's dimensions are about 80 x 125 x 4 mm. The plug itself fits the charger for the above noted phone (the one in the picture). UPDATE: I have created a new version, which has a round hole in the middle of the front part, with the intention of serving as access to the charging port while the phone is in the portrait position. Print Settings Printer: Wanhao Duplicator I3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: I printed at 0.1, can be decent at 0.3 Infill: I did 15% and got pillowing, might need 50% Notes: Printed using 50% infill, 1.5mm shell thickness, 1.5mm Top/Bottom thickness in an attempt to avoid pillowing. It worked, but the thing is a little heavy. I am thinking that the 15% infill might work with the new shell/top/bottom thicknesses. How I Designed This Based on observations of the other 2 designs given credit here, I used basic functions in Sketchup to produce the desired shapes and connect them.
