I designed this holder to mount my Galaxy s3 to my 6" Newtonian telescope. Using a "bubble level" app, I securely centered the holder using two strips of velcro. Now using the SKeye app, or the astronomy app of your choice, makes finding & identifying things in the night sky a snap. The dimensions of the slot are 72mm wide by 11mm deep
