Disclaimer: I have barely used OpenSCAD before (definitely not with something this complex), and the .SCAD file that comes with this does not exactly represent the models 1:1 - I had to do some tweaking between multiple renders to get everything to line up properly. I include the SCAD file here in the hopes that someone else can use it. Oh, and the sleeve was done in Fusion360 because I was 100% done with OpenSCAD. I bought a Nextstar 127 SLT and the Celstron focus motor without first checking to see if they were compatible - which they are not. This adapter plate resolves the issue. You will need: 7x M3 Nuts 4x M3x20 OR M3x25 Bolts 3x M3x10 Bolts 1. Remove the rubber cover on the adjustment knob 2. Remove the first screw that holds the rail thing onto the telescope. 3. Slip the mounting block behind the rail, reinsert the screw. 4. Insert 3 M3 Nuts into the back of the mounting plate, evenly spaced. These should stay in place themselves. 5. Put the mounting plate on top of the block, securing it to the mounting block with M3x20/25 bolts and captive nuts. M20 should just reach. 6. Secure the orange plate provided with the focus motor in the recessed spot of the mounting plate using M3x10 screws into the nuts placed at Step 4. 7. Ensure it all lines up, and use the retaining clip with the last 2 M3x20/25 bolts to secure the plate to the central eye piece. 8. Use the custom spaced sleeve when installing the focus motor.
