Celtic Heart Knot Stereographic Projection

Celtic Heart Knot Stereographic Projection

thingiverse

This is a stereographic projection of a classic Celtic knot, but modified so that there is an integrated heart as opposed to a separate ring. Put the model on a flat table, then put a point light (LED will work well) at exactly 100 mm above the table above the center of the model. You can also print the included cap, which lets you install a 5mm LED in the correct place. I've also included the model and the cap combined, but good luck getting supports out! There are also 2 different versions. I've included the cleaned up exported vectors from the SolidWorks sketch I made for this project. In addition, I made a colored bonus of the alternate one. Feel free to use them with the same license. (CC, Attribution, Non-Commercial) I made this mainly because I wanted to see if I could make a streographic projection model in SolidWorks. I rendered the picture in Blender.
