Celtic Shield This is an OpenScad version of a bronze shield dating back to the Late Bronze Age circa 700 BC. Today it can be viewed in the National Museum of Ireland in Dublinhttp://www.shee-eire.com/Arts&Crafts/Celtic/Metalwork/Shields/Bronze-Shields/Page1.htm The handle is not authentic. It should be curved, but with the same attachment points The size and design of the shield can be varied by changing the values for the constants at the beginning of the SCAD code, and the accuracy of the details by changing the $f numbers Instructions Just printed one in ABS. 230C for the nozzle, and 110C for the bed. It was sliced with slic3r, and specifying support material at 5mm spacing. Had a little trouble removing the support material, and broke off the handle whilst doing it (too hasty - I was getting it ready for grandson to take to school as part of his homework). Suggest increasing the handle width to say 3mm
