Center Bookshelf Speaker Mantel Bracket

Center Bookshelf Speaker Mantel Bracket

The mantel above our fireplace is made of a reclaimed beam from an old tobacco barn and sits atop two stone brackets protruding from the wall. I didn't want to drill/screw into this nice beam to mount my center channel for my surround sound, so I designed this bracket to fit firmly and completely around the beam so I could screw the center channel mount directly into the bracket instead. It was designed for a Pioneer bookshelf speaker that I've had for quite some time. Recommend printing with 75-100% infill for sturdiness and something that's PLA+ or stronger so it doesn't bend/warp over time. It should dovetail together snuggly, but I recommend super gluing the joints so it doesn't come apart under the weight of the speaker over time. Print the front X screw-hole-side-up and the cross-braces flat against the bed. Takes two M5 screws (I used 7mm length).
