Centerpiece Vase / Bud Vase (7 variations)

<p>There are seven models in this collection. Each is 150mm / 6" tall. Scaling them to 50% creates a decent bud vase.</p><p>For receptions and gatherings, these can be set out on each table as a centerpiece or personal bud vase, with the intent of guests taking them home as a keepsake at the end of the event.</p><p>The models are solid, so you'll need to alter your slicer settings to create a hollow vase. The can be done by either:</p><ol><li>using spiral vase mode and adding 3 or 4 solid layers on the bottom, or…</li><li>setting infill to 0%, number of perimeters to 1, 2 or 3 (depending on how sturdy you need them), and setting 0 solid layers on top</li></ol><p>While spiral vase mode will give you a smoother profile, increasing the number of perimeters will create a more durable vase.</p><p>In the cover photo, the left vase is printed in rainbow silk PLA, the right is red-yellow-blue coextruded silk PLA, and the center (scaled to 50%) is white PLA with metallic accents added to the base and rim.</p><p>The seven models are:</p><ul><li>hexagonal cross-section spiral</li><li>hexagonal cross-section spiral, curved profile</li><li>octagonal cross-section spiral</li><li>octagonal cross-section spiral, curved profile</li><li>trefoil cross-section spiral</li><li>trefoil cross-section spiral, curved profile</li><li>traditional Greek profile</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>
