Human: Recycled Materials Centrifuge - Version 1.0 This design focuses on combining 3D printing technology with the use of second-hand materials. The primary element of a centrifuge machine is the motor, typically open-source designs utilize brushless motors that require additional electronics for control, such as an ESC and microcontroller. To replace this, a retired computer fan was used, requiring a custom structure to hold samples in an eppendorf tube. For the base and outer casing, a recycled CD cover was utilized, along with a small 3D printed base. Additionally, a 12V power connector and switch were integrated for easy operation.
