The Shatjan warriors of the Adusgee Forest (sometimes spelled Adusgi) in Northern Anchorome protect their flowering homeland from the depredations of the white bearfolk, invading gnolls, and even the occasional Abeil invasion seeking to conquer their wild lands and institute order. However, the Shatjan are also known to roam the lands protecting the herds of deer, moose, bison, and caribou from those who would overhunt the population. While Shatjan wizards are little known, shatjan warlocks serving entities such as Raelkath Maneeboughs, Rititisk the Clever, and Besparr the Many-Legged Caribou. Occasionally the jackalopes, dire jackalopes, and flying jackalopes (known as Wolpertinger amongst the Poscadari and Snow elves) of their homeland are born with a unicorn like horn, and when this occurs the creatures usually exhibit strange magical powers and their horns are utilized in the crafting of magical items.
