The original fan guard of the Cetus 3D fan will still allow your finger to touch the fan and cut yourself. This new fan guard not only prevents that, but it also has vanes to cut down on back flow at the inlet of the fan. The fan guard will require slightly longer M3 screws to replace the original ones.
