This is a adapter to convert a DN40 Conflat flange into an SAE style screw in o-ring. The goal was to maintain the inner diameter as much as possible, and use a standard CF40 blank. The joint is designed to vent the vacuum space before completely releasing. This is not recommended for true UHV service.The Conflat adapter can be machined from scratch or made out of an existing blank flange (MDC:110008, Lesker:F0275X000N)
