Introduction https://youtu.be/fF8vtp30OUc CH3SS is a mini (4in /10cm / side) chessboard. It comes with a box and fits most pockets, it can be printed on all 3d printers, and both colors print separatly and assemble easily. The playset It has been designed with 3d printing in mind. Figures are secured together within the included raft. The board The Grid The grid is ment to be printed upside down on flat surface for a shiny result. The Tiles Tiles are printed using a 45° angle to optimize the result. There again, some kind of raft keeps them up at 45°. Once printed, both colors assembles together in 8 tiles rows ready to insert in the grid. The box It comes in 2 parts: A drawer that contain figures on the bottom and board on the top, and a cover. The cover can be reversed so you can secure an ongoing match for later resume. Enjoy! Btw, The first one to print it on resin (and post it) win a real world, hand writen, signed (but noot with my blood, and no, I'm not famous), mailed "thank you" letter. Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Creator X Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .15mm Notes: There are 2 sizes; The original, that you can see in the picture, "10", is +/- 4in (10cm) wide. Box included. The variation, "14", is +/- 6in (14cm) wide. Box included For the tiles, I suggest 25% infill minimum. For the board, the box and the cover, I recommend autowidth of the extrusion and 100% infill (there is little infill, do not worry) For the playset, You can either go for a 0% infill with mininum 3 walls, or some infill and 1 or 2 walls. print slowly. Head fan highly recommended. You'll need: 1 x board 2 x tiles in one color 2 x tiles in another color Optional (the box): 1 x box 1 x cover Post-Printing 1) Pick up the colors and print everything 2) "69" the tiles from each colors together Take one "white" and one "black" serie of 4 tiles, flip one around and assemble them together to get 8 tiles. 3) Insert them in each row of the board That's the trickiest part. Depending on your printer tolereences, it will be either: A very tight fit. Mmm. Print the tiles insertion helper, use some soft hammer. A tight fit. Perfect then. A "not so tight" fit: either use some glue, or play on flat surface... A pretty loose fit: use some glue! 4) Start playing! And do not forget to print the box :-)
