Chain torsion and tension/ lengthening control unit consists of the following main parts: chain form guide, chain distortion contoller, chain tension/ lengthening controller and alarm lamp. chain distortion contoller represents a cross-contour of the used chain and allows to identify defecive chain members.A defective chain member won't pass a typ chain segment, so it pulls contoller up and engages alarm switches hain tension/ lengthening controller features a spring-loaded special profile plate with three zones. this plate measures chain internal size of the chain members. If lengthening occured, a chain member will have bigger (longer) inner hole, so profile plate will be forced to lock a tensioned chain member. At the same time, chain tension/ lengthening switch will be engaged, so an alarm lamp will be activated
