I use my road bike to get to university and work and therefore I'm not a big fan of black stripes on my trousers. I couldn't find a commercially chain guard for the Tiagra crank I'm driving and couldn't find a printable one that would fit on my bike. I also didn't liked to use screws to put it on my bike. So I designed this chain guard. It has Inbus pins which are getting thicker towards the base to be able to push them tightly into the chain ring bolts. You will have to turn the bolts slightly to align them with the pins which needs a little bit of trying, but when you have them right the guard easily pushes in. A few (light) whacks with a hammer helps to secure the guard in place. The cutout around the crank was needed to fit the print on my printbed. Minimum size needed to print this in one piece is 220x220mm. I printed it in PLA and have used it for around half a year almost daily and had no issues with it. It doesn't come loose and protects the trousers very nicely. Only thing it can't protect you from is your trousers touching the chain behind the chain ring (Happens only with very wide trousers).
