Chainring guard, customizable

thingiverse

This is a customizable chainring guard. To customize, measure the distances between the mounting screw centers, put those in the screwSpacing list (one distance per screw), and select the number of teeth in your outer chainring. This may be particularly useful if your chainring screws are arranged in an unusual pattern (e.g., I had a 119.5mm x 109.4mm rectangle) that is not commercially available. A number of common dimensions are pre-generated. The code assumes that all the screws are arranged in a circle (and calculates the radius of this circle from the screw spacing). I recommend printing in ABS so it doesn't shatter with nasty bits going into the leg. For a 48T chainring, you need a printer bed that can fit a 205mm circle.
