Chainsword V2 remixed for more stability
thingiverse
Remix of Dxsus's impressive chainsword model. Modifications Made: To enhance stability, I modified the connection system to accommodate a 20 mm diameter rod as the core component. This was achieved by incorporating pins into the design. Testing Revealed Success: A standard 20 mm aluminum tube from a hardware store performed admirably when used as the core rod. Typically sold in 1 meter lengths, the required portion for full-scale models is approximately 96 cm long. Print Settings Optimization: For my Anycubic Chiron printer, I found that the following print settings yielded optimal results: scaling at 103% for the body and 105% for the pins that are still necessary. Required Prints: To complete the model, you will need to print the following components separately: - Handle 1 and 2: each printed once - Blade: four units - Tip: one unit - Thin pin: one unit - Tick pins: six units
