Chair cum Ladder

A multi-purpose piece of furniture which is usable as a chair and as a step-ladder. The arrangement has a base frame and a backrest which is pivotally mounted on the base frame and adapted to be folded from a backrest position to a step-ladder position and vice versa for respective use as the top rung of the step-ladder when it is in a horizontal position and as the backrest of a chair when it is in the backrest position.
