Chair leg cap

thingiverse

Simple cap to replace a broken cap on a kitchen chair. Printed in Biomyde fillament for its durability and strength. The top inside is tapered to make it easier to fit over the chair leg. Print Settings Printer: Cubicon Single Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.15 mm layer height Infill: 15% infill Notes: To print nylon on the Cubicon Single I purchased a glass plate of the same dimensions as the build plate, used small office clamps to attach it to the build plate, and used standard vinyl glue to get the nylon to stick (heated bed at 110 degrees C, extruder at 225 degrees C). How I Designed This Designed in Onshape (link to design files). To compensate for the nylons tendency to expand (making holes smaller) the horizontal dimensions needed to be scaled up by 5%.
