Chair Leg Glides (3D Printed Then Resin Cast)

Floor surface in my house is porcelain ceramic tiles which is very hard and abrasive. Hardware store floor glides (which protect the chair legs) do not last very long and I got tired of having to replace them every year or so. My chair glides were designed in Fusion 360 and printed on the 3D printer . Not expecting PLA to be a very good wear material for the chair legs, I made a silicone mold of the chair glides and cast them in durable epoxy resin. Note: These glides would not be suitable for carpeted or hardwood flooring. There are two different size glides, small for the front legs and large for the rear legs. You would need to alter these to suit your particular chairs. Following videos show the design, casting and installation process.
