Chamber safety flag for 12 gauge Mossberg Maverick 88. Should also work on 500 and 590 guns as I believe they have near identical receivers. Designed to locate against the extractor groove in the barrel so the extractor cannot be damaged should the action be forcefully closed with the chamber flag still in place. The tight versions are designed to fit tight against a bare metal receiver and the non-tight give a bit of extra room for bolt on sidesaddle accessories. May work on 12 gauge shotguns from other manufacturers if they have the extractor in the same place so long as the receiver isn't surrounded by an inch of plastic molding. When trying it please check that the extractor won't get mashed against the stalk of the flag. Model has threads for a bore swab insert. It's not required to use it but it's a nice option and it will hold the flag in place . I designed it to use 5/16x32 threaded swabs like those that came installed on the Carlson's Wool Snap Caps that I already had. Would be happy to model versions with other thread pitches if you know what size and pitch you need. I read that the Hoppe's swabs use the same threads, other brands I don't know. I believe this is my final revision. Made a few changes and I'm currently printing this version but I don't expect any issues.
