CHAMP 3 - 2-piece locking tapered slide This CHAMP clamp uses a 2-piece design optimised for 3D Printing. To attach; the main section is fitted around the handrail and the slide then guided into the groove. The groove is tapered with a de-tent and one end to lock the assembly together and help prevent inadvertent disconnect. To remove; the slide is pushed in the opposite direction. Additional grip to the handrail, to prevent slippage, is achieved with the hump on the rail side of the slide. Two seat track mounting positions are provided along the wide and narrow sides of the handrail. The components can be printed in a single print as they fit within the build envelope in the orientation shown in the attached pictures. The print has a total volume of 2.29 cubic inches.
