This is a revised version of trekkie148's Chandley Class frigate. I've always been fascinated by the design of this ship, so I decided to rework the model to make it more suitable for printing. To achieve this, I broke down the design into three main components: the saucer section, the hull, and the two nacelles with struts. This allows users to scale up or down the design, making it easier to print on smaller printers. The dry dock files are an optional feature that aims to simplify the assembly process of the Chandley Class frigate. The primary purpose of the "dry dock" is to facilitate the attachment of the nacelles and struts, which can be notoriously difficult due to their length and weight. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer Model: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Raft Settings: No specific raft settings are required. Supports: Enable supports for a more stable print. Infill Density: 20% infill density provides a good balance between strength and print speed.
