Channel Slot

Step 1- I did a construction line down the middle of the planeStep2- I drew the the middle part of the channel slot (the rectangle) and boss extruded itStep 3- The i split the rest of the object into 2 separate pieces. The little square nub was a separate piece from the rest.Step 4- Then i drew both f the separate pieces and extruded them.Step 5- since the object is perfectly symmetrical I did the slot channel on the top of the object accordingly while also hitting it with the fillet tool.Step 6- Then since I split the image at the beginning I used the mirror feature and copy he image on the other side too give perfect symmetry.Step 7- Lastly I saved the cut in the back of the piece and sliced it all the way through
