For ease of classifying the dizzying number of ships used by renegades, privateers and worse, the Imperial Navy groups many designs into classes of similar capability. The Infidel family of raiders are heavy torpedo boats while the Idolator class are gunboats with a lance and long-range weapons batteries. Prows with turret are compatible with the turrets from Imperial Cruisers for additional choice. Excellent for games of Battlefleet Gothic, or other space games if that's your thing.
