Chassis for F&C McKeen motor car and NWSL Stanton drive

This is a chassis/interior combo for the HO scale McKeen motor car made by Funaro & Camerlengo (F&C). The print consists of a 1-piece chassis/interior with separate steps to be glued on. The steps were separated to make printing easier, so the only support needed is for the power truck area. Use a Stanton 39278-4 power truck from NWSL (7' wheelbase, 33" wheels) to power the model. To mount the front truck, use a 2-56 screw with a piece of 1/8" brass tubing (cut to 2mm long) and a washer no larger than 1/4". The screw can be inserted at a slight angle to clear the cab interior door, then tighten into the truck below it. The brass tube will allow free swiveling of the truck even after fully tightening the screw. The real McKeen cars had a structure under the chassis that was not modeled on the F&C kit. I did not add this either since this is a good place to add a little weight. Cut a piece of 3/8" x 3/16" rectangular brass tubing to length between the two trucks, fill the tube with lead or another heavy metal, then glue the piece to the bottom of the chassis. The molding inside of the F&C body isn't especially accurate. You may have to sand down the sides and corners of the chassis interior walls to fit properly. You'll also notice some notches in the tops of the walls. These are to allow wires to run through the model for lighting. The little room in the front passenger section just behind the cab is a bathroom with toilet and sink. I also added some simple blocks to the interior to represent an engine, control stand and something else that's either a tool box or more engine. I couldn't find much reference for that area, so it was mostly guessing. I used my own custom power truck design on my model and do not actually have the Stanton drive on hand to test. The measurements should be correct based on research I was able to do, but if anything does need slight correction in that area, please let me know so that I can update it.
