Area of outcrop on private arable farmland to the east of Chattonpark Hill, Northumberland. This carved exposure is a few hundred metres E of the main Chatton clusters. Stan Beckensall records three cups with partial rings and two further cup-like depressions. On the 3d model, it appears the cups have been carved centrally into raised areas, giving the impression of partial rings, rather than them being carved. Recorded on the Beckensall Archive as ‘Chatton 9b’ it was added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008. ERA record containing Beckensall Archive material: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=107 Model created from 3 stereo pairs captured by Joe Gibson in January 2007. The imagery formed part of the NADRAP / ERA archive.
