2021/5/21 How to make the simplest and cheapest CNC End Mill bit in the world using office pin This time I make the simplest and cheapest CNC end mill bit in the world using office pin. I use Carbide Create to generate the g code file. After finish the drill, I have found that the contour parts are not good enough. On the other hand, the pocket parts are really nice even compared with a commercial one. I think this end mill bit can be used as a normal tool for soft materials. Happy modification. Have a nice day. https://youtu.be/eiGH6rLYJgw 2021/5/18 Recently I add a PCB drill to 3d printer. It works very well. My 3d printer has become a multi-function CNC machine without interference from the 3d printer's normal use. Now I made the simplest and cheapest CNC drill bit in the world using office pin. It may not be used for PCB drills (too soft for the copper layer). It can be used as a drill bit for softwood or PCB board itself. I modify the DC 130 motor base a little bit. Add a cover that contains an M6 ball plunger to restrict the motor from moving in Z-axis. Now it is very stable. I use Carbide creat to generate the g code this time. It is much more functional than Adobe Illustrator and g code script combination. I will tell you how to use it in the next video. I add the v shape drill bit cutting process for comparison. It is very beautiful in detailed parts. The needle drill bit can not reach that level but it is almost free. 1000 pins cost about 4 dollars in fact. Still worth it in the case of some soft materials.
