cgtrader
A chess model, designed for educational and visualization purposes, has been constructed using Maya 7 software. The model features clean topology, exclusively comprising of quads; it has no N-gons or triangles. The UV mapping is done with overlapping, and the model is fully textured. Rendering was performed in 3ds Max using v-ray renderer without smooth modifiers (the render scene is included). Multiple file formats are supported, including Maya 7 (.ma, .mb), OBJ (.obj with .mtl), 3ds Max 2009 (.max), and Autodesk FBX (.fbx). Both the FBX and OBJ files are directly exported from Maya. The model has 3612 polygons and 3680 vertices, and is mapped onto a single 2048x2048 pixels texture map. The textures include both diffuse (color) and reflection maps, which are provided in two formats: .tiff with LZW compression and .jpg.
