Ladies and gentlemen... the 1982 Chevrolet Chevette. Why would I do this? I decided to learn Blender and I needed inspiration. My first car was a 1982 Chevette, so why not? Listen. This isn't a bad car. It actually has a lot of character. But this isn't about the car. Let's talk about the model. I tried to build a faithful recreation of the Chevette 5-door hatchback using only old photographs, my own nostalgic memory, and lots of vertex pushing in Blender. I hope you enjoy it. Incidentally, the Chevette didn't change much between the late 70s and about 1983, so this model pretty much represents those years.
