This is a tray made to hold valve lifters and pushrods from a Chevy LS engine. Useful during tear down and rebuild process to keep lifters in proper order so they can be returned to the same bore/cam lobe. This was original work on my part so no worries about infringing on anyone elses patent or copyright.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Filament: Any and All PLA Purple

Notes:

I used purple because that is what I had. Chevy engine orange might work, too.

Post-Printing =============
Must be glued or otherwise adhered together.

I used acetone to make the parts adhere together. I put a little acetone in a stainless bowl and used a small brush to coat the surface on the tray I was trying to adhere either the push rod hold or the lifter cylinder to. Then I just dipped the part I was going to add into the acetone and then quickly pressed the part onto the tray. This makes a really strong bond without. You can pretty quickly get all 4 of the push rod holders and the 16 lifter cylinders stuck onto the tray (like 5 minutes).

Category: Tool Holders & Boxes
