Chevy S10 Lug Nut Cover (With Test Iterations)

This is a test lug nut cover that I created mainly to test how the threads print. If they are correct I'll modify the cover to be more than just a cylinder. -UPDATED- Second iteration uploaded. Thinner wall, deeper hole, and scaled to 101% to counter ABS shrink. (successful threads). -UPDATED- Third iteration uploaded. Threads are good, so adjusted model to look like stock S10 lug nut cover. It's not quite OEM, but dang close! -UPDATED- I added the Fusion 360 file as well as an obj file for those interested in modifying this design. I could not find the original file, so I remade it. It should be very close to the original. -UPDATED- I made a Chevy bow tie cutout in the face of the cover and included the bow tie as well. If you have a dual extrusion printer the models should fit together as is. I do not, so I will be printing the parts out separately and pressing them together after. I will add pictures once I have printed this newest update. -UPDATED- I realized that the bow tie was backwards, so I corrected that. I also added a version of the lug nut cover and the bow tie insert with fillets to make them easier to press together for us non-dual extruder folks. If you are using a dual extruder printer use the models without the fillets. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: 100% Post-Printing Threads on the first model are a little tight. Threads on second model are correct, but snug enough that it should not come off on its own. Final model may need to be threaded on with the lug wrench the first time. I was able to screw it on by hand the second time, but still used the lug wrench to snug it against the wheel. How I Designed This Designed in AutoDesk Fusion 360. Original Model: 30mm diameter, 50mm tall cylinder with a 40mm tall hole that is threaded to 24mm (M24-2). Second Iteration: 27mm diameter, 50mm tall cylinder with a 46mm tall hole that is threaded to 24mm (M24-2) then scaled to 101% to account for ABS shrinkage. Third iteration: 28mm diameter, 19.5mm tall cylinder with a 16.5mm tall hole that is threaded to 24mm (M24-2) with 3mm worth of the cylinder beveled down to meet a 19mm hexagon that is 9.5mm tall (overall height is 29mm). Fourth iteration: created a bow tie emblem and cut it from the face of the existing model.
