This simple little chewing gum pot holder needs a little explanation. I read somewhere that all the little bits of chewing gum that get spit out of a car window form a serious health hazard for sparrows and other small birds. To them it looks like bread, fills up their stomach but it does not digest. So despite the fact that they are full, they starve to death. So I decided to no long spit my chewing gum out of the car, but where to put it? See here: the 2 pot solution. Fresh chewing gum in the first pot, used up chewing gum in the second put. Once the first pot is empty, put its lid on the second pot, put the first (now empty) pot in place of the second pot and open a fresh new full pot. (Still with me?) Then you can throw the full used up pot away. Simple, no? I clip the holder in the side pocket of my door. Easy access. There is a bridge in this design, as I wanted to make sure the pots do not slip through the bottom. But even if the bridge does not come out perfect, it doesn't matter much as it is hidden from view and is only there to hold the pots. You can smooth it out with a heat gun if you want.
