Chihuahua Badge

Chihuahua Badge

thingiverse

How many folks on Thingiverse own chihuahuas? I guess I am about to find out. We got a chihuahua a couple of months ago from a rescue shelter. My wife came up with the idea for this badge, and I found the wonderful 'Chihuahua 3D Wall Art' creation from kwh32901 right here on Thingiverse. With the help of Fusion 360 (and the 2D CAD software 'Draftsight' to generate the lettering) I was able to remix kwh32901's model to make this one. And, with my trusty FlyingBear P902 printer, I was able to make it real. The language the text is, of course, Bostonese, which is an eastern-Massachusetts variant of English. So, if you have a chihuahua, or if you are a fan of them, proudly show all your friends the POWAH of the CHIWAHWAH! Print Settings Printer: FlyingBear P902 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 mm layer height Infill: 20% Notes: The badge is 100 mm diameter x 7 mm deep. The raised lettering, border, and image are 2 mm deep. The supports are needed for the two 10 mm diameter x 3 mm deep indentations for the magnets on back of the badge. Magnets of this size are available on Amazon.com and many other sellers as well. For the two-color effect, change the filament when the Z-height reaches about 5.5 mm. (If you have Marlin firmware and an LCD controller on your printer, you can find the 'Change Filament' option under the 'Tune' menu on your LCD screen. Note that the 'Tune' menu only appears while a print is in progress.)
