According to the CDC 300 children are treated and two die from poison everyday. This could be prevented with proper safety. This lock allows for just that, keeping kids out of those harmful products. This product has a snap fit design so that after it is set to the length needed for the cabinet it won’t need to be readjusted in the future. Able to be released with one hand makes it easy for the parent to unlock and open their cabinets with items or a child in hand. This product's design can be fit to most cabinet sets. The 3D printed aspect of this product makes it perfect for the average family to own. Considering its design, the product has simple storing capabilities. It is not too big and clunky, but also not too small and brittle.
