The company I work for is organizing it's first annual Chili Cook-off. I was asked to print travelling trophies for the following categories: Hottest Chili Best Recipe Most Creative Recipe These trophies all have a 4" x 4" base (101.6 mm x 101.6 mm) The chili pepper was taken from gregorycerna's 2014 ICC Chili Cookoff Trophy http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:526151 Beefy arms from atartanian's Beefy Arm Starter Kit http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:217849 Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Maker Select Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 25 Notes: I didn't use support on Chili_Hottest, but you might want it for the chili stem. Mine turned out okAY. You will need supports for Chili_Creative. Chili_Best will print without support. Post-Printing Depending on color choice, you might need to give the letters a quick paint job so they stand out. How I Designed This I used Autodesk Inventor to make the bases and emboss the text on each base. Chili_Best was created solely in Inventor. The flames were drawn in AutoCAD and converted to stl's in Inventor. For Chili_Hottest and Chili_Creative, I exported the bases from Inventor as stl's and combined everything using Meshmixer.
