Even the Paper Towel deserves to relax sometimes! A relative simple design for a paper holder which consist of 8 parts (and eventual screws, though glue or other similar methods could very well work too). Easy to self assemble (though some tweaking on the model might be needed). The design resembles a bit a relaxing chair, hence the name Chillaxing. Made using Autodesk Inventor and rendered in Showcase. It works by threading the paper towel between the opening made by the top part (the large plate) and the legs hidden in the bottom. Since the bottom pieces doesn't have anything in between, it's easy to grab hold onto the paper and thread it towards the opening. For the sake of giving it a rough estimate of how much it would weigh, I gave it the material Stainless steel in Inventor which gave it roughly a weight of approximately 3 kg. With this weight I deem it more than enough to use the product with one hand. However depending on the situation, a lower weight could be used. More renderings and/or illustrations might come eventually. I'd like to thank Jonathan for uploading the paper towel model! It certainly made my work a lot easier.
