While working from home, did a lot of work outside this summer. It was fun to leave seed out for the birds and mammals, but the chipmunks would burn through the seed pretty quickly. This dispenser took them a little while to figure out. ### Construction: It was printed in PLA with 0.2 mm layer height. The barrel is mounted on a section of rod. I used the 7ish mm fiberglass rod that is typically used to make our your driveway for snow plows. Standard roller skate bearings make it easy to turn, but are probably overkill. The stand and the ring have recesses to accommodate M3 nuts and bolts to use as lock screws. Screwing it down to a board is a good idea. The squirrels can be pretty rough with it, and managed to break the first version of the stand. You can see some of the design and assemply process and video of it in use [here](https://youtu.be/vPo1p72szrk) ### Notes It probably could be less generous. They can still clean it out pretty quickly. Further tweaking is in the works to make it dispense less with each push and have a larger capacity.
