Set of 3 Chisel caps for Japanese Yataro Chisels.
5/8", 1/2", and 3/8"
There are retention bumps on inside of each cap, so that they do not slide off. Bump was intentionally made slightly tight so that the first use cuts in slightly to ensure a snug fit.
Opening is double chamfered to to make it easier to insert the chisel.
Finger grooves on the outside so that you do not slip while handling a sharp chisel.
Circular window so that you can see the polished edge of the chisel, and they print with less material.
I printed using PETG so they are strong, yet its a softer plastic that will not damage the blades.
Each prints quickly and easily with no raft or no supports.
Download files include a file of all 3 or each separately.
Can be scaled to fit other chisels.
